From the Fragments of Tezuka Osamu

"From the Fragments of Tezuka Osamu" is an official Tezuka Productions digital art NFT project composed from the manga manuscripts of Osamu Tezuka, the master of manga.
Based on three works — "Astro Boy," "Black Jack," and "Phoenix" — it was released in two forms: mosaic art NFTs and generative art NFTs.
In addition, 20% of Tezuka Productions' net proceeds from the project were donated to UNICEF and organizations supporting children in Japan.

Each mosaic art NFT is a one-of-a-kind artwork composed as mosaic art from Osamu Tezuka's vast body of manuscripts.
The background is composed of 840 rare color illustrations from Tezuka's works. For the character motif, more than 4,000 black-and-white manuscript pages per title were cut into over 40,000 fragments and arranged as mosaic tiles. View it from afar as a single painting — or zoom in and feel Tezuka's passion for manga in every tile.
All three mosaic art NFTs were sold at auction; "Astro Boy" fetched 120 ETH (about 53 million yen), the highest price for a Japan-origin art NFT at the time.
The generative art NFTs are artworks randomly generated from the image materials used in the mosaic art NFTs. Materials in three sizes — Large, Medium, Small — are placed at random, so every minted NFT is unique. 1,000 pieces per title were sold at a fixed price, and all sold out.
